8 therapy sessions

  • 4 physiotherapy sessions
  • 4 feeding therapy sessions
  • 3 before surgery, 5 after

Also in your week

  • In-person evaluation with Kate and Dr Roche
  • Frenuloplasty with Dr Roche
  • Discharge review before you travel
  • Six week telehealth review, included

Accommodation is not included. Comprehensive families have priority for our residence, so availability for Foundations families depends on the dates.

Local preparation

Your local practitioners are part of the plan.

We provide a good deal of therapy in Ireland, and your local practitioners, typically for bodywork and for feeding, prepare your child beforehand and continue the work afterwards. We ask that your child has started pre-operative therapy locally before surgery is booked.

What helps us most

  • A report from your practitioners on how your child has been prepared from a bodywork point of view and from a feeding point of view, with a short feeding or movement video where possible
  • Contact between your practitioners and our team, covered by the clinical liaison fee
  • Local therapy continuing after surgery, to build on the work done in Ireland

Choosing your practitioners

  • NTTC cannot assess or endorse other practitioners. The choice is yours.
  • NTTC relies on the information your practitioners provide. Local care remains the responsibility of you and your practitioners.
  • Look for experience in infant or paediatric feeding, and in bodywork, oral function or myofunctional therapy
  • Ask whether they are willing to share notes and speak with our team

We are responsible for the surgery and the care we deliver in Ireland. Because we provide a good deal of therapy here, your local practitioners add to that work rather than carry it alone. How a child feeds and moves in the months afterwards still depends on the whole picture, so we cannot promise an overall outcome.

Cost

What the package includes.

Package priceper child, as described on this page€5,775
Online consultationwith Dr Justin Roche and Kate Roche, paid first, separate from the package€450
Total for one child€6,225

All prices include VAT where applicable. These are typical prices. Care is individualised to your child, so your final package is confirmed after your online consultation. Additional therapy beyond your pathway is charged at our standard session rates, set out on our fees page, and nothing is added without your agreement. An itemised breakdown is sent with your consultation report, together with the terms and cancellation policy for your package. Where a second child is treated, some fees are charged once per family.

Frenuloplasty is a surgical procedure. All procedures carry associated risks. Full information on risks, benefits and individual expectations is provided before any decision to proceed. Outcomes vary between children and no result can be guaranteed.

Is Foundations right for you?

Often a good fit

  • Local practitioners are ready to start before surgery
  • You would like several days of therapy in Ireland around the surgery
  • You can manage a working week away with your child

Consider another pathway

  • Little or no therapy available locally (the Comprehensive Care Package prepares your child in Ireland)
  • Complex feeding history or a baby needing close daily support (see Comprehensive)
  • You would prefer a shorter trip (see Release)

Suitability is decided at your online consultation and confirmed at the in-person evaluation.
