Infant symptoms

Newborn & infant - feeding & early function

Feeding difficulties in the first weeks and months of life are the most common presentation of tongue tie. These symptoms often affect both infant and mother simultaneously.

Adult tongue tie is frequently missed or dismissed. Many adults live for decades with compensatory patterns - in jaw mechanics, swallowing, posture, and breathing - before the root cause is identified.
